Sounds interesting. Given that you would have to read at least a few chapters and decided to integrate one's novel that author should be happy to have a fanfic (if that's what we could call your novel? seems partly correct), as it's another sign of having written an interesting novel. Go for it!

That's exactly the problem. They could just use an originally male/female charakter and the story would still work if you delete a couple "how do I pee?" jokes. It just undermines the serious psychologicals problems that come from feeling completely wrong in your own body.

It's a bit of a problem that so many authors are using gender bender for laughs and attracting attention as a case of someone feeling that his/her body isn't the right one should be pretty heavy for them... But then there are others, like QuietValerie for example, whose stories make you think...

Just write the way you're comfortable. While others opinions are good, it's your story to decide what you're gonna do. While my first arc ended wit 80k, the second will propably be twice as much. Just have much more content planned :blob_blank:
