Is anyone going to adapt their dnd campaign into a novel?

Then what about a on based on adaptation rather than a faithful adaptation? With the author adding some bits into it to make a better story?

Is anyone going to adapt their dnd campaign into a novel?

I heard Critical Role is adapting one of their campaigns into a show but I’m wondering if any authors are planning on making their campaigns into a novel. I’d be down to read if anyone does it or has already did it.

How do you guys feel about weak protagonists?

Would power of friendship + strategy - Bs power-ups work for you?

How do you guys feel about weak protagonists?

I actually love weak protagonists because of the tension involved in any combat situation they’re in, and how exciting it is when they actually do something cool. And because they’re so weak they’re forced to rely on side characters for help, more times than not developing and making those side...

What would the world be like after you died?

I was watching clips of Re:zero and gotten to one about Subaru’s second trial and the possible realities after he dies. I was like “damn... what’s that like for other people?”. So here I am with the morbid question of “what would happen to world and the people in it after you day?”. I’m excited...

Why do most Jp and Kr (and some Cn) Mcs look the same

It annoys me so much when I see a novel, anime, or manga and the Mc has this generic, basic ass look. Like is it that hard to make your Mc look somewhat unique. Like the side characters and villains really look better and more interesting than the Mc.

    Harem or No Harem Team?

I had to choose I’d pick no harem because of how hard it is to do it well, some authors write monogamous relationships well, and a way smaller amount can write harems well. In my opinion to write a good harem the relationship between the girls and the Mc have to make sense, like not the Mc...

How do y’all feel about smut novels?

I don’t really like smut myself because I find it to be boring after a while. Like the excitement of reading the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) scenes wears off at some point and when it happens every few chapters and it just feels boring. If I don’t like the plot outside the scenes the whole things sucks for me...

Ya’ll know any good cultivation stories without the red flags?

I started to wonder if there were any good cultivation type stories without the normal red flags that are in almost all of them. You know, repetitive story, constant face slapping, awful villains, 1 dimensional side characters, shitty Mc (lack of character development), the author riding the...

I’m genuinely surprised by how much this thread has deviated from my OP.

Authors ruining their stories with terrible romance

So I was laying in bed on scribble hub and then I started thinking about romance and how some authors end up ruining their stories because of it. I know everyone has their own genres they like and do well in so they won’t be good in everything but why do some just make the things their bad at a...

    Are villain/villainess novels becoming cliche?

I’ve started to notice tons of villainess type novels be written was wondering if it was going to become a cliche like hero summoning isekais. I’ve read the descriptions of some, while I can’t talk for all of them a lot of them sorta sound the same. What do you guys think?

How do some other authors update multiple novels so often?

How the hell do authors update multiple books in a week? Do they have tons of stuff prepared for their books or just write everything on the spot? I honestly don’t know if they don’t have other stuff to do in their lives, they’re just built different or I’m just lazy.

    Have you published your book(s)?

I was thinking over some stuff about novels and was wondering if anyone ever wrote a book here and published it. If so, how did it happen?

How should I outline my story?

I’m going on hiatus for bit and was wanted to take the opportunity to outline my story’s plot and make it easier to write chapters and hopefully better in overall quality. I’m wondering how far into the story should I outline. Just the first arc or the first arc and a few arcs after it. What do...
