Hahaha, just remembered I can use this. Thanks! Then you might like using Manuskript. Just a heads up tho, if you haven't check out their site, there seems to be a problem when some people download it, I hadn't encountered the problem but the creators do have instructions for how to overcome...

@NiQuinn [about Wavemaker] Yeah! I love its google drive features too and the design is pretty. Those alone are enough for me to use it but since I'm pretty satisfied with my current writing app, I'll probably use it for its timeline features ?

@NiQuinn [cont] There's also the matter of novel outline; they have lots of options like if it's a trilogy, novel, novelette, etc but if you customize it the names become what they initially appeared in, e.g. # of Something, when I try to rename it, say 7# of Arc, create, then 7 [Something]s...

@NiQuinn [regarding Manuskript] Yep, just downloaded the file from the site, extract, and run. I didn't check out the tutorials as I'm prone to experimenting my way around. That being said, it is a good writing software although it is ideal when you have set up already how many chapters you...

Quoll Writer is far more stable than the other two I mentioned although as it's too simplistic. On the other hand, Wavemaker lacks a character section and too many vague tools that I feel will make the organization of idea all over the place; it has a timeline tool tho which I like a lot. Out of...

@GuanZhong Yep! I usually try them out when I get stuck and second guess where I'm going but by the end, I'll still return to the software I initially started with.

@Nahrenne it's okay! I started with Word too but over time, I found that Word is not enough, for me anyway, on writing things like character outlines, plot points, and other world-building stuffs. Still love it btw :blobthumbsup::blobthumbsup:

@Ruyi my favorite and the one I'm using these days is Novelist since I'm on mobile and/or pad most days. Just started to check out other writing softwares due to a thread about open source writing softwares, I'm still in the experimenting stage tho

Sooo hard to adapt to another writing software when you've already started with another :eek::eek: That said, I recommend Quoll Writer, Wavemaker and Manuskript for those of you writing on a pc. For smartphones and pads, I recommend Novelist; bit hard at first but is amazing.

Error report on Second Life as the Sister of a Goddess.

Hmmm, I think it will be better if you hire a proofreader or an editor, not that I'm underestimating the people here in SH forum because, as you've put in your post, you've already gathered as many critiques as you can from readers and probably other authors too. Unless that person is a fan of...

    Tips in writing a story

Another thing too is to start writing. Start on a chapter be it the intro or a random scene, just start putting it to words. Begin writing a word, a phrase, a paragraph; baby steps like these are akin to a domino effect. You can plan and all that but from my experience, if you don't start a...

Looking for Work Providing 400x40px Signatures/Banners for your Scribblehub story

Oooh, I love them all! I must say, the gold is on point. Fabulously well done! I’m torn between version A and C (it’s the gold’s fault) hmmmm but A’s got that “ready to kick ass” vibes, yep, A it is. Thanks a lot, and kudos!

Looking for Artist I am looking for an artist for my first story cover

Hi! Not an artist but just here to suggest a really cool app for making book covers. Canva It is available in Play Store so if you want to try it, it's free. You'll have to tap your inner artist though :;)::;):

Editing Any tips on how to find wrong tenses?

Hmm, my routine is actually the same as yours and the dilemma is the same as yours, lol. That aside, I noticed that it is hard to spot wrong tenses while doing the editing alone since your eyes had already interpreted the text as 'okay'. I think the ideal way to circumvent this adaptation is to...
