    Daily Loss Mega Thread

I was too tired today to write a new chapter, breaking my streak of daily updates (at least in my timezone) of around 15 days.

    What did you learn today?

Yep, also apparently some crows have a bigger brain than humans proportionally. A crow's brain can make up around 2.7% of its overall weight, while a human's brain only makes up around 1.9% of their overall weight.

    What did you learn today?

Today I learned that crows can apparently recognize the meaning of each color on a traffic light. Some crows bring walnuts over to an intersection and wait until a red light to place the walnuts in the road. When the light turns green, the crow immediately flies away from the cars and waits...

    Crazy Fun Story Chain Game

Both Cathulu and Pepsiman were engaged in this discussion, when suddenly a cat girl appears from the picture of a portal to the agency.

Writing Bite Size vs Lenghty Chapters

For me, I typically aim to write chapters with over 3000 words because I like to get decently detailed with combat scenes to really create a vivid image of how the fight it going. As for when I'm reading, I prefer longer chapters because it allows me to waste more of my time and gives me an...

    Crazy Fun Story Chain Game

Each stone emitted a light intense enough to temporarily blind Cathulu.

What time do you use Scribble Hub the most?

The Cthulhu mice bunch together, piling one on top of the other until they transformed into something.

    Letter Bias

The the two characters I’ve named both start with A, so I think I might be a bit biased toward it. It was completely unintentional as I was trying to find names with a meaning that represents the character.

    Crazy Fun Story Chain Game

With those words, Pepsiman bursts out from the cracks, and a minute later, the Kool-Aid crashes through the wall yelling "Oh Yeah!".

What is the first series you read here?

I don't remember which story was the first one I read on this site, but I know that this story was one of the ones I read when I just discovered this site. https://www.scribblehub.com/series/21364/the-reincarnated-vampire-just-wants-to-enjoy-her-new-life/

    What's your favorite fantasy creature?

My favorite would have to be a phoenix.

Multiple POV is tiring as hell.

I haven't read Lookism yet, but my general opinion of multiple perspectives is that I usually welcome it. It gives me a sense of how other characters view a situation that might be heavily different than how the MC sees it. Personally, when it comes to subpoints, I welcome learning about them...

In what language do you think?

It depends on who I'm talking to. If it's just in general or if I'm talking to someone who can speak English, then I think in English, but when I'm talking to my family, I speak in Mandarin Chinese.

What one spell would you make if you're a wizard in a world with a soft magic system?

I would probably make a spell that freezes the time of all projectiles, stopping them from moving so that I can layer enough of them and resume time in all of them to make them congregate onto an opponent.

How long does it take you to write a chapter?

For me, it depends on the content of the chapter. If it's a chapter focused on battles, I would estimate around 5-6 hours to write 5k-6k words, and maybe an hour to briefly scan through the chapter to make sure nothing is wrong with it. If it's a chapter that is about lore-building or...

What Made You Start Writing, And I Guess Get Into Books

For me, I’ve always loved reading since I was pretty young. I started out with nonfiction books about planets and other things, then I started to read fiction, most specifically fantasy novels. In 6th grade, I was obsessed with the Wings of Fire series. Then in 7th grade, I started to read the...
