I usually keep track of all my characters in Notes. The minor character who only appears for a scene or two, yes I keep track of then too.

My stories kind of follow what you are trying to say. I focus a lot on the world since it’s so complex and I write in first person. I also have one which is written in third person.

I personally don’t care as an author. I just write for fun. But as a reader, I do make a separate to read list.

Thanks for your guy’s input it really helped. I’m deciding the leave the LitRPG tag cause it still plays some element into the story.

Title says it all. I was wondering if I should keep the LitRPG tag I have on my story: Heir de Winter even though its pseudo LitRPG. Basically, the MC has a program, similar to those in mmos, which keeps track of his progress almost like a fitness tracker. He doesn’t gain any skills or cheats...

I’ll agree to that. Whenever I’m bored I’ll usually go through trending. Although, I’ll have to say a lot of stories I binge have almost the same cliches in them.

I would honestly look at the latest series tab. Who knows, you might find some gold.

Haha, I’m a nice person and I’m in somewhat of the same boat as you. I completely understand the struggle.

I plan and make note of all the major arcs. Once I have that, I plan what happens in each arc then separate those events in to different chapters.

Maybe you could add more description or dialogue. To me, you seem more like a veteran writer. I feel like I’m the wrong person to give you advice being only a beginner in writing.

If anything, I would suggest making your arc around 7-8 chapters for starters then slowly extend that. I think 40 chapters for an arc is way to much and 20 is just about right.

Dude that way too fast. An arc for me last 17-18 chapters. Can I take a look?
