I read a lot... a lot! Go to the library every three weeks, plus I read books on my bookshelves. So I thought, Well, let's try it. I have the time, I have ideas, and I definitely like to write. I write mostly science fiction but I have ventured into fantasy and horror (very slightly)

This may shock someone but I listen mostly to classical music.

One of my pet peeves is an author writing '...thought to herself.' [or 'thought to himself.'] Unless telepathy is involved in this story, who else do you think to? The fact that you are thinking to yourself is obvious, so 'to herself' is rather redundant.

Ah, NaNoWriMO, I knew thee well. I used to do this for fifteen years, churning out 50,000 word novels, but a few years back I lost interest and gave up on it. If I remember right, I always came up with the 50K.

So how many sentences can we send? I have a few favorites.

I use a program called Balabolka which also gives you a pronunciation guide. I deal mostly with aliens so I want the voice to pronounce the names like they're supposed to be pronounced, not like the AI thinks they should be pronounced.

How do I write? Let me count the ways. Usually on t he computer... sometimes with paper and a pen. Yeah, I know, kind of old fashioned. But I don't think that's what you meant...? I usually daydream a lot walking three dogs in the morning. And I talk to myself a lot. (Yes, I'm quite sane). I do...
