Fine responses. Maybe one day I'll build up an actual short story with these snippets of dialogue of mine but so far, it's just adding more to my characters. ...Like my character Nagase on occasion writes some very unusual fics in her spare time and shares them with her boyfriend for one.

Do you get into the habit of writing random short scenes involving your characters just for the sake of it? Like it frankly doesn't add to the main story itself but it's still something? I admit I got a bit of writer's block...Or just being stupidly busy (retail in 2020 is hell, enough said)...

That might be it. ...But I could had sworn it was 3 ratings before suddenly back to 2 but I'll take the site's word for it.

When I first posted my story, got a 5 star after a few hours in. Okay, that was nice. Several hours later, someone gave me 1 star. ...Okay then. I kinda shrugged and after another 5 star, I'm not sure what happened but that 1 star actually disappeared. ...The ratings are weird, just to admit.

That's a good one. Because again there's a debatable half truth to it. I mean the MC certainly is strong physically but definitely nowhere near as experienced to match to really make full use of it. This tag is interesting because it's not as clear cut as assumed. Again, "strong" could really...

And of course, there's that. I like that it points this out that something needs to be ironed out...But it really helps lower the rather condescending tone (even if it wasn't trying to be) if it was more specific and...Well, helpful. Otherwise yeah, this kind of thing is very irritating.

Thanks for the replies. I honestly forgot there is an Overpowered Protagonist tag. I guess the more accurate term might be experienced than simply strong. But yeah, there's a lot to interpret that tag to be honest.
