I know them, and I also know the classics like Lucky Star and TMOHS. Anyway, they work for Anime... but I thought we were talking about writing here? Any book needs a draw. It's much different from anime or Light Novels (which have a ton of art). Even so, the examples you listed have a draw...

I think SoL needs to have an interesting theme to draw in the viewers. SoL can never be a true standalone genre IMO.

If you love images, do it. Speaking from experience, people are not particularly stoked about AI-generated images/Amateur art, and it doesn't make or break a story. Some people might love it, but if you give someone the choice: More chapters or the occasional piece of art, I'd like to think 99%...

This is not meant to discourage you, but scammers often target new stories and stories that update frequently and don't have many readers/views. They are targeting those people because they hope they are eager and desperate for new readers and probably assume they don't know how the "game"...

I'd focus only on the Blood Rose Princess stories. I think stories in the same universe or spin-offs only make sense if the main work is at least finished, or a large arc of it has been finished. Maybe try to make progress with the "Sequel," which is in truth the main story if I view things...

Might be worth contacting them, pretending to fall for their scam, and asking for their PayPal, only to report them to PayPal, and hopefully get their accounts locked. I don't know what it takes to nuke a PayPal account, but even if you have to lie, just nuke it.

I loathe these people so much, especially because multiple people here have lost hundreds of bucks to these vultures.
