    Thoughts about time skips

This is absolutely not a question to resolved with a survey or some kind of literary rule. Any given story is likely to contain dozens of time skips of all manners of lengths, varying from hours, to hundreds of years, to literally until the end of time (eg. The Last Question).

    Creative burnout and story hyperfixation

Considering that most stories (especially WN) are horribly overwrought anyway, don't think of this so much as creative burnout, as your mind doing you the favor and cutting your darlings for you. If you don't think the scene worth writing, it probably wasn't worth reading either.

You stole my rec, you scoundrel!

What are some of the most absurd plots you've ever encountered in fiction?

Hey man, that anime was hilarious! Stupid as hell, of course, but that's just part of the comedy.

I drew my friend (a guy) as a girl

I feel like there was a missed opportunity for someone to say, "Draw me like one of your french girls."

I hope you're enjoying your councilor duties, Mr. A.A_M And Fool, sorry your day is going shitty, but look on the bright side, at least you're (probably) not on fire.

And now you've multiplied! Anyway. Prince, not terrible isn't a terribly high bar (hah hah), hope the rest of your day only goes up from there. Thanks for the odd comments Mr. Contro(ary?), I hope writing them brought you as much amusement as reading them did for me.

Somehow, there are two people following me. I'm not sure what to do with this information, so I guess I'll just try being polite. Hi People! How are your respective days going?

Does anyone else have a unique saying or catchphrase they often say?

Well, that's a weird catchphrase, but if it works for you, I guess we'll allow it.

Does anyone else have a unique saying or catchphrase they often say?

I love saying "Kid's these days" when someone does something dumb or silly, doubly so if they're older than me. I probably have a few others, but that's the first one that came to mind.

    Overpowered or underpowered MC?

I think overpowered is overrated. It can be a lot of fun, when done right (where the character's struggles and flaws are unrelated to their ability to punch things), but more often than not, overpowered is just a symptom of an author's poor story telling ability (take offense if you must)...

As an author, how do you feel when you reread your novels?

I love rereading my stories, I think I've read each of them several dozen times. Occasionally, when I was writing them, I'd go back to check some detail, then end up reading the whole thing though back to where I was working. For 3, it depends. If the story was dependent on a good twist, then...

Writers: How do you push past a chapter?

I think the advice to write through your block is probably the correct one, though taking a walk outside, or reading a good book, might help get you in the mood. I've found that just writing the scene in a very stupid way can help get me past that point in the story, and then I can come back...

Do you mind real life physics when you create a "fantasy" world

I even try to consider the physics of friction and gravity in fight scenes. I'm too lazy/stupid to do the actual math, but I do at least try to keep in mind that if you try to push off too hard, you'll end up sliding your foot over the ground rather than move anywhere, and other such annoying...

Interactive Sci-Fi: You Decide What Happens Next

You might get a stronger response one the site SpaceBattles (or SufficientVelocity, though they are a lot smaller). They have these things called "quests" which are basically interactive fiction. I mean, assuming you don't get as much audience involvement here as you'd like.

What is the moral message of your novel?

Can't say I intentionally wrote any moral messages on purpose, but if I was pressed I'd say, "Pragmatism is good, actually."
