The misfortune of Ai writing style

Authors simply need to create such degenerate content that it would never pass the AI content filters :blob_sir:

I'm offering myself for the critics

Break? Bored? Free time? Get back to work, or you'll be sent to the mines on Mars, where you'll be used to create jokes and other things. You can take a break after reaching 10k readers and increasing your Patreon income to 20k per month, not a day before that!

What's the best and worst feedback you've ever received as an author?

You'll get the nicest, but also most biased feedback on Patreon. :blobtaco: Great ego boost.

What's the best and worst feedback you've ever received as an author?

Probably a wise decision. :blob_sir: Isn't worth it if the community is so toxic.

Need Some Reviews ON MY ART

Creepy AF. Genuinely talented artist but maybe not in the way you intended. Reminds me a little of Scott Cawthon.

What's the best and worst feedback you've ever received as an author?

Just report that Review, it will get deleted 100%.

    Should I quit writing?

It's AI writing, btw. Either a full translation or a heavily edited/generated AI clanker. :blob_popcorn_two: Really pisses me off to actually give a serious response only to notice this afterward. Only thing he wrote by himself is the "warning" and the chapter names (which explains the silly...

    Should I quit writing?

This explains nothing. Tell us about your situation in detail. This is just not enough to provide any advice. It's just a coin flip at this point.

I too, have appeared on the 'Treading' list :3

Yeah, more visibility means more bad ratings. It also invites hate from jealous authors. Don't let it drag you down. :blob_reach:

How much does launch matter? And does irregular posting hurt discoverability

The opposite is true, IMO. Irregular posting will pretty much guarantee trending and thus will drastically improve discoverability. In return, it will hurt and alienate existing readers and cause most of them to lose interest in your story.

I too, have appeared on the 'Treading' list :3

Sometimes it's best to tread carefully and let someone else tread ahead and check for traps. Congratulations.

Need opinions on my cover art.

I can barely see the faces/upper bodies in front of my giant PC screen. No way will I see anything if the picture were smaller. You desperately need to add visibility through them. I think you need some outlining. I think that would make your cover WAY more impactful and easier to properly see.

Warning to all Authors, do not fall victim to "professional editors."

Just another example, it happens almost daily by now. Anyway... thanks, buddy.

Give me your thought which Art Style I should use

Am I just blind, or does the "simpler" variant look much cleaner and NOT less detailed? 100% the first one.

Warning to all Authors, do not fall victim to "professional editors."

Scam. Just block, report and delete the comments. I hate people like that. Why are you even talking to these clowns?

Warning to all Authors, do not fall victim to "professional editors."

Yeah, that must be a really shitty feeling. Don't be discouraged. We all get them. Frankly, I've received like 10 or so of those comments in between all of my stories.

Warning to all Authors, do not fall victim to "professional editors."

These people are the lowest of the low. They target mostly new Authors who share their stories for free. They target people who are providing entertainment for anyone else, preying on their inexperience and abusing their lack of comments/feedback. Oftentimes, the scammer is the very first...

Warning to all Authors, do not fall victim to "professional editors."

Has your story received a really positive comment? Most likely in the very first chapter of your story? Chances are: 1. You are an excellent author, and your first chapter is absolutely flawless and has drawn in a reader so deeply that he just had to comment instead of reading on. 2. It's an...

    How to market and promote?

Royal Road marketing/promoting requires more work than writing your stories. You need to get access to the biggest authors and then convince them to give you a shoutout. Yes, there are invite-only Discords which usually only invite people who already made it and have a decent audience to...
