I will read your story and give reviews. (I am OatMush's disciple).

Hello there! I was browsing the forums and saw Mr. OatMush's thread. I loved the concept, and thought I should volunteer my own services in this way and fashion. To note, I will do the same and tell you where my attention broke, and where I dropped it. However, I won't be able to give you...

What is the biggest mistake a new writer can make?

That was a fascinating thread to read. Just write when you can, but try to write everyday. Consistency matters in any activity.

Writing Characterization problem I've come across and need help solving

I don't see the problem! What you'll do is add lots of conflict to the dynamic of the team, and conflict is good! You just need one incident that hooks the Lawful Good Character (hereby, LGC) with the MC team. LGC needs a token where they can doubt their own beliefs about their dogmas, and have...

    First Person POV advice needed

That is a very restrictive limitation to First Person. It can be so much more. You can essentially write stream-of-consciousness without it necessarily being 1st Person. And, generally, stream-of-consciousness doesn't have coherent thoughts. It's hardly a stream if it doesn't mimic how human...

    Non English Sentence in Epigraph

Oh, I totally get it for conlang. I wasn't sure if real world languages would be allowed. Mostly, I thought they wouldn't be allowed as Kanji in a quotation. Seems like there shouldn't be any issue.

    Non English Sentence in Epigraph

Yes, but's going to be a quote. I hope there is no issue about fonts or something as such?

    Non English Sentence in Epigraph

Hello there! This is my first post, but I had a beginners question. I wanted to quote a Matsuo Basho haiku as my epigraph, but I am unsure if using kanji would be considered foul of the rules. Can anybody clear this up? Is a direct quotation in kanji alright to have?
