How absurd have the standards for nameless background character death in web novels gotten if a 70% civilian casualty rate is the 'hope prevails' option and not enough to show that 'reality is not kind'?

And for extra hypocrisy, they'll criticize humans specifically for being racist while claiming that all humans are evil. Then they will repeteadly refer to humans as bugs since they are always the weakest race, but that doesn't count as racism because only humans can be racist.
