Will You Play Assassin's Creed Shadow?.

A big thing for me, that kills open worlds is that its a wonder killer. I had this thought when I was playing BG3 and I was in camp right before entering the city, and the backdrop is absolutely huge, massive tracts of lands, valleys rivers, and the city itself completely dwarfs the playable...

Will You Play Assassin's Creed Shadow?.

I feel this way about open world games in general. Really hope the industry reprioritizes more focused design. I'm sick of giant maps filled with mmo quality quests and writing, or Zelda games where every puzzle is a self contained mini game instead of a dungeon that adds to the world feel. Even...

Will You Play Assassin's Creed Shadow?.

I've kinda always hated Ubisoft even before they started pushing out what everybody else thinks is garbage. I remember getting a few of their games as Christmas/birthday presents during the Wii era and they were all shit so I guess I just always associated them with shovelware. Then I tried to...

    Good writing site I recommend

I use microsoft word, I actually subbed to the whole kit to sort of make me feel forced to use it. The cloud storage is kinda nice. It didn't really work all that well though, paying for it I mean, I still procrastinated for about a year and a half before I typed out the first chapter this January.

Would you want to be recognized or acknowledged?

I think it'd just be nice to know I made somebody feel something.

    Magic systems?

My magic system started out as just somethings I wanted the characters to do that I thought would be cool, and then the rules came afterwards. I have a few notes describing it, one of them reads "What if buying into your own bullshit makes things happen" and that was one of the earlier ones, and...

What is the game you have played the most?

On steam it's FFXIV with 3.5k hours, but when I was a kid I swear I must've had at least close to 7k hours in smash bros melee. Me and my friends would play it almost every single day on summer and winter breaks. If WoW tracked its time over all that'd probably be a contender for number 1 as well.

What is your favorite chapter that you have written?

There is a shared moment in 4 and 6. It happens from different perspectives one from the antagonist in chapter 4 and from the protagonist in chapter 6. It's sort of the inciting incident I think, which truly drags the MC into the grander story and has lasting effects throughout what will happen...

Where do you save your outlines, plans, plots, etc.? + a small apology

I used to just use notepad, but I bought microsoft word last year and copy and pasted everything there. It's an absolute mess though. I sort of just push old notes to the bottom and then whenever I have a new idea I keep it at the top so it's fresh. Trying to find something to look back on is a...

Powerscaling: Tell me about the most powerful character in all your novel/s

I have this character Aurelio, who is sort of an Achilles type character. Pretty much invulnerable to damage as long as he truly believes himself to be the best combatant in the room. His heel is a more psychological than physical in the story, though I haven't quite gotten to that part. It just...

Live action Lilo and stitch trailer dropped.

Kind of an unnecessary movie but they did an amazing job casting Lilo. Niece and Nephew might like it. They loved the original.

If you make a novel to please everyone, you are the Nickleback/Imagine Dragons of novel writing.

I wanna kick my younger self for being embarrassed by the things I liked when I was kid, Nickelback is awesome.

    Regarding Butterfly Effect

I think you're taking the metaphor too literally, sort of similar to the one I heard where a butterfly's wings cause a hurricane in asia or whatever. I think the Butterfly effect is more so that small actions and choices eventually can lead to significantly larger consequences. The butterfly's...

    Textures that you can’t stand.

I really don't like the scratchy bits of velcro. And slimy foods like jello or cranberry sauce is a no go. Also I don't know if this is a common experience, but if you eat chips, do you ever end up picking up one that is strangely soft and has too much seasoning on it? it has happened to me a...

Is it just me, or are the scribblehub tools shockingly good for such an unassuming site?

Hit the edit button on one of your stories and then go to the misc tab, there you can choose how your stories relate to one another if they do at all. You can also see a bunch of more detailed stats there as well.

Is it just me, or are the scribblehub tools shockingly good for such an unassuming site?

I really like that you can link your stories together and show their relationship to each other. It's really cool for world building projects.

Is plot armor actually that bad?

The way I see it, the story can't really happen if the MC dies to the mundane. It's what makes the story worth telling in the first place right? there's limits to how far that stretches obviously but it honestly never has really bothered me too much. If it starts to feel like a elementary...
