I have a general outline of events...but when the time comes I'm going to write the chapter it gets wildly changed. I just can't help my panster nature. I use outlining more as a brainstorming session instead of actually planning for what's going to happen. I always change my mind in the end anyway.

True, which is why I just accept all 1 stars and 5 stars. I write at RR but hang out here (maybe I'll post my story here too in the future) and people do get crazy over there on stories that reach trending, even more so than here. I'm fine with even people that auto 1 star a genre they don't...

Write a different chapter and then come back to it and read it aloud. That should help out so you won't gloss over your own mistakes.

Most people have an 'idea' of what a harem and a reverse-harem should be and they set their expectations based on that. When your story is not the 'conventional idea' of harem even though it really actually is a harem, best to just have some clarifications in the synopsis. It can't be helped...

I'll count a story successful if I am actually able to finish it. That's the biggest challenge I think.
