    One sentence ghost stories.

Hope the CW lawyers (Guess it would be Warner Discovery as the actual production company behind Two Sentence Ghost Stories) don't find out and sue?

Hey guys, my first novel and an entirely new concept to blow your mind, still require some feedback though...

Um, not a new concept at all - a lot of TV shows used to follow this model, most recently the "What If...?" animations on Disney/Marvel.

First novel, would like some feedback on what I should improve.

You may not be a brilliant writer, but, trust me on this, you are FAR from the worst. Maybe the worst on this thread but definitely not this site.

    Litrpg without accomplishments?

I'm seeing that in an audionovel "The Mech Touch" - very sarcastic system.

What was it like the first time you shared your novel publicly?

First novel published online? Diamond in the Rough, July 29, 2024. Part of a temporarily suspended ongoing series (that should be five books long but I haven't had time to get back to book two). Published because I didn't feel nervous about sharing for once (and was hoping to test the waters...

    Litrpg without accomplishments?

I have only used one - Action Hero Beta Path - in Digital Cowboy Dane, and am at chapter 95 - though I am basing it more on a game that didn't use Levels of any sort except for during skill generation. Word count is 145k, not sure how that translates to page count though. Oh, unless you count...

Not sure if he was joking

Makes perfect sense, really. Suspect he was half serious and half exaggerating.

Based on age and mental development, what kind of female protagonist do you prefer?

I have no issue with Teen or "Mature" heroines (or heroes) and Children can be fun if well-written, but I prefer most of my heroes to be "young adult" - though I tend to define that as 19-30 for both genders.

    Annoying, Unsolicited Advertisement of Services

Heh. Playing with one of them now... He wants to discuss the cover art for "My Stubs" ... Umm... yeah...

    Introduction of an antagonist.

I would suggest having most of them be mindless - but either there is a master creature out there, or they develop intelligence over time to become a more serious threat.

    I'll review first chapters... ?

No, I'm saying you don't need the "that was" - unless you're trying for a specific word count. It isn't wrong to include, but it is not needed (except as word count padding, something I've had to do a few times recently).

Which Type of Feedback do You Want From the Readers?

Just would be happy to know people are reading (or listening to) it. How they make it known is of little consequence.

    fiction approval

My Stubs | Scribble Hub took about two hours - about five minutes after the cover was approved, though.

Who do you think is the best swordsman from fiction?

According to film critics, Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman is number one. One version of Zorro (I believe the Douglas Fairbanks version - he actually combines theatrical and competive fencing and the choreography is amazing) comes in about fifth - just ahead of Inigo Montoya and Westley/Dread...

    Guns in Fantasy

The basic concept is that, in a "near future" ruled by megacorporations instead of (or that replaced) national governments, something happened and magic suddenly returned to the world. Some people were transformed into fantasy archetypes, some have found ways to blend magic and science, some...

Writing What is the webnovel format, compared to a standard novel format?

The big difference is that webnovels need to have chapters of a consistent length, that end with either something punchy and engaging, or a cliff-hanger to lure the reader in to the next chapter. Otherwise, they're not that different.

    Guns in Fantasy

Sounds almost like the old Shadow Run RPG.
