I am probably just gonna make it less complex with one light source. And will also put the bird on its own layer.

I did essentially trace my hand in that pose yes. I just over embellished the tendons and the wrist, while removing the hair. Next time I will make the tendons more opaque.

I also try to keep things as simple yet precise as possible. The fewer colors and the more they contrast the better. However...

Kept having a scene echo in my head today, so I drew it to the best of my ability. As the scene echoed I built a story for it, but don’t expect anything from it until I finish/hit a stopping point with my current story.
