    You know what I hate?

There is (or was, at least - haven't used it extensively for two editions) in Word but I haven't found anything like that in Google Docs unless you make every chapter its own Tab (I reserve that for notes, distinct arcs and side stuff and keep the main file in one place, until it starts...

    Lively Dialogues

The only exercise I've heard is to either read the dialogue aloud and record it to hear how it sounds, or to have one or more friends read it out loud for the same thing. Another tactic that can help is to read authors you think handle dialogue well, and try to mimic it without copying...

    You know what I hate?

Heh - with Between Worlds I wound up having to split four early chapters into seven when I submitted it to PocketFM. Wound up with such a messed-up sequence, I just jumped a few numbers on what was here (and I'm not sure my actual electronic version on Google Docs is correct anymore)...

Who is the character you like the most and who is the character you hate the most in your novel?

My favorites tend to be the support characters - Battle Mother Beydara in Between Earth and Pyrroth, or Jonesy, the character who keeps having to make new Travelers in Digital Cowboy Dane - though these characters also tend to suffer a lot. I also really like the crazy old dragon Domelius...

Is grappling hook/ ODM overdone/ overused in purely written novels?

It was something I never even considered until I picked up a game book called Kingdom of Champions and it flat out declared it. Outside of maybe two cities in England, Spider-man's webs would be useless for transportation. Superspeed or flight, however, would be far more useful than in a lot...

Is grappling hook/ ODM overdone/ overused in purely written novels?

The issue, I suspect, isn't so much whether it's well-done or overdone - it's that this is something that shows the American origin of comic books. It is just kind of silly in most European countries to even consider this as a mode of transportation; you need to get to the Middle East or...

What's the most important part of a fight scene?

Trying to get a mix of drama (for the characters) and fun (for the reader) when I'm writing them. When I'm reading them, just a dynamic flow. Does not have to focus on movement, or blow-by-blow, or special effects, it just has to flow in an engaging manner.

Looking for Marvel Fans’ Feedback on My Story Idea

You know, a ScribbleHub version of the Marvel Universe would probably have scenes like: It was at that moment that Jamie Howlett, once known as Weapon Ecchi, became Waifurine.

What do you imagine the future to be like for your characters after your main story ends?

For most of them, I expect it to be open to sequels. At least one will die though and be reunited decades later with loved ones.

Recommendations Looking for novels that are written in non English but then author translates it to English.

Yep - in fact we have at least one French writer translating some of her works to English - AmbreaTaddy's Profile | Scribble Hub One person up in the Author's section made a comment that this was exactly WHY he translated his stuff to English - to learn how to replicate those nuances, or at...

What media do you prefer to enjoy fictional stories through?

Something tightly controlled by the Geneva Convention.

just an amateur artist trying to make her own illustrations

The actress has done a lot of crazy stuff - she was a red-head for "Russian Doll" (Netflix), and a few roles before that, but has been a blonde since, and her big thing was "Poker Face," I think on Paramount Plus but not sure.

Feedback Exchange – Let’s Review Each Other

That is a good strategy for a print novel, where the reader has already invested in the work and has a vested interest in keeping going. It is generally, unless your skill at telling this part of the story is spellbinding, a terrible strategy for a webnovel where, if you don't grab the reader...

    Patreon + Part Time Job?

If you can meet their schedule and "quality" demands, PocketFM can provide a decent income (in theory at least) - but you do need to have at least two novels going at a time, and be able to put out at least a chapter in each a day to see real money (I haven't yet)

What Works Best In Fantasy Romance Genre?

Not necessarily - it means the reader is invested enough to question what they read. It may mean that you're writing is exactly where it needs to be... or that you need an editor to help catch silly errors. Or both (usually both). But yes, it CAN mean you need to work on something, but does...

just an amateur artist trying to make her own illustrations

Nice. Second image looks a bit like actress Natasha Lyons (and even more like the animated character from "Marvel's What If...?" that she voiced)

What media do you prefer to enjoy fictional stories through?

All but that last one. Have only been able to sit through one true opera and did not really enjoy that one. Can get into some operettas and rock operas but not true ones - though they do produce some fantastic overtures (and one led to a great Buggs Bunny cartoon)
