Technically superhero stories do it all the time. The MCU, the Batfamily, The Watchmen... even if maybe that's grasping. Also, some stories cannot focus on a single character, like Avatar: The Last Airbender.

They managed it well in Eden: It's an Endless World, the story is divided in multiple parts and the protagonist changes each time, but since the manga is about an overarching plot it works. And it's not like the old protagonists become irrelevant.

War is progress but "progress" isnt always better, sometimes things can change for the worse. Also, sometimes war erases previously acquired progress, like how Europe managed to bear the Revolution out if France. It didn't stick but you get what I mean. Peace doesn't always lead to stagnation...

Causality paradox only works if the time traveler already traveled to the past before they did it. If the past is just a save file you're rewriting by traveling back to it, then causality hasn't anything to say to you about it.
