Does anyone like celebrating holidays or do it because of peer pressure

I only really care at least a little about Christmas, maybe extending to New Year. More for the atmosphere and nostalgia, than anything else. Thanksgiving is not even a thing here. Any other holiday is hardly more than a free day off work, if even that. Oh, and Mother's day. Momma raised me...

    Girl's Love Confusion

There are the "Girl's Love Subplot", "Slow Romance" and "Late Romance" tags, perhaps use those instead? A combination of those three should be pretty clear. Having Girl's Love among the genres implies it is a major theme of the story, and the lack of Late/Slow romance makes people expect it early on

Whoever's used a piggy bank, why?

I have one I used to store my loose coins - one of those you don't have to smash. It's a paperweight/ornament now.

Anyone remember how auhtorship used to be?

I'm not an author, so I can't speak from experience, but I would assume while today there is more competition, there is also more room for authors to express and advertise themselves. Back in the day, every book you would read was either someone who already passed a publisher check, or someone...

What are you impressions of my intended ads?

I would say September 2023 has long since passed.

    Does this exist?

As others said - I know some stories with similar concepts. Sunless Sea, which is steampunk with a focus on sailing the Unterzee. Aforementioned WaterWorld, though that's not steampunk, not even remotely. Several books with magic steampunk atmosphere and flying ships. A single steampunk strategy...

Recommendations A novel where the MC is just some guy

You can check any of those: Spice and Wolf - literally just a travelling merchant MC. His travelling companion is a spirit of wheat, but she's not overpowered either. Chasing Sunlight - Again MC with practically no special power, he just knows what he wants and how to best get there. This Quest...

    Crying MCs?

Crying is fine, it can even be a powerful tool when used well, but when it's all your character does, it's a major turn-off (looking at you, Tokyo Ghoul anime).

[Serious Debate™] What is the optimal number of girls in a xianxia harem?

Personality? In xianxia? It's good enough if they can praise the MC at every opportunity, who needs a personality.

    Zombie physics question...?

Another point is that zombies need to recognize "friend" from "food" - that is, other zombies from any other living creature, chiefly human. As they regress more towards pure instinct, smell could play a large role in this, telling them who is infected, and who only vaguely looks like zombie.

Have you had satisfactory romantic relationships in life?

For efficiency's sake, I have decided to merge my Forever Alone Gang membership into my Procrastination Gang membership, the meeting for which is tomorrow. As such, I'm unfortunately not going to attend this time.

    Recommendations Monster novels

That's... actually, I don't think I have ever seen a monster reincarnation novel that is not some shade of LitRPG :blob_hmm_two: The closest that I know, at least of the ones worth mentioning, is probably An Unwilling Monster. Everything else I know in this actegory is LitRPG and/or abandoned.

What do you guys think about tax (as a concept )

Some might say taxation is theft, taxes should not exist and whatnot, but those poeple ignore one major issue with that view - without taxes, you would have little to no public infrastructure or services. No asphalt roads, no running water (including the pipes to your home), no firefighters or...

    Fantasy?

You're not wrong, but there still clearly are people who enjoy a good conventional fantasy, and there are good novels in that category to be found here.
