I still don't. What if I lose something interesting and can't find it again? :blob_blank:

I think the really funny thing (and the reason why I've disagreed with the whole idea from the get-go) is that everybody will have their own idea of what that success should be measured by and how to measure it on the scales. Because we are inherently biased since we have our own preferences...

I don't know if you've seen this post back then: https://forum.scribblehub.com/threads/constructive-criticism-does-not-exist.2551/ We were talking about constructive criticism, what it is, how it should look like, and whether it's something we should do, or if it is one giant barrel of bullshit...

In fact, reading the 'objective' side, I'm not even sure I'd agree that it is 100% objective. Like, just three instances I was thinking about while reading it: Well, it's intriguing to you which you explain in the rest of the paragraph (and that rest, I'd agree, is objective) but stating 'it is...

@Queenfisher, that'd be about 52632 words per day. So I guess I'd need to drop a few more novels :blob_hmm: I'm afraid it's unlikely ... @Assurbanipal_II, I started writing at least 3334 words per day at the beginning of 2019. It adds up :blob_blank:

Can an admin add spaces to this chapter?

I agree with the others: Just comment on the chapter and (politely) mention the problem to the author. Most likely, they'll add the spaces in.

... and there's all the characters I love in there while some of them haven't appeared in the revised version yet or only appear every now and then :blob_teary: I'd miss them so much if I couldn't write the first version :blob_pout:

Also, while I do think the revised version is better than the original version in the first volumes, it's so much fun to write the first version right now because we're so much farther into the story. The revised version is at the beginning of the third volume of the original one while the first...

In any case, while it's indeed a bit hard to keep both versions in mind all the time, I do enjoy being able to do this because it means OMF becomes even more awesome :blob_aww: I do like this kind of plot that's interconnected everywhere so being able to add to it is actually not bad ~ :blob_melt:

On the other hand, I don't want to pause/stop the first version to revise the finished volumes. That'd take several months as well because adding all those details back in means that I need to write completely new chapters. Like, I think I've added about 380 chapters by now? :blob_blank...

I'm back. What did I want to say? :blob_hmm: I actually enjoy doing the revision because I can change some other details while I go along. And I would likely do it anyway after I finish with the first version. The thing is just: I don't want to wait that long because, as I said, the first...

I can't really unify both versions at this point (might be possible later though) because the missing details still run through the fourth volume that I'm revising right now and do, in part, influence the volume after this. So I'll be stuck with this for at least another two volumes. I also...

The readership ... I guess it's different? I know one reader that started with the first version, then read the revised one and genuinely liked it better (never mind the new details, I've also rewritten the early chapters for better flow). I also know that some people started with the revised...

The pace was great back then because it allowed for so much progress :blob_aww: I'm still writing 3/4 c/day now but it's spread over several projects so we make less progress with each per day. I sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be nice to finish some up and do more OMF. But even with 3c/day it'd...
