    There shouldn't be any flowers in pu'er. Was it flavored somehow? How did you brew it? Jasmine is scented green tea, so it should not taste anything like a dark tea like pu'er.

    @NotaNuffian Tieguanyin is a variety of Oolong, so there is nothing wrong there. Is it a light roast (Qing-XiangXing)? For contrast try a more heavily roasted Oolong (Nong- or Yun-XiangXing).
