The most profitable way to earn money off your writing is from Patreon and amazon kdp. As for contests, I only ever entered one but dropped it half-way through since it proved too much for me at the time.

That's called post-nut clarity. The fact that you experienced that at all means you're not a psychopath. Jokes aside, self-diagnosis shouldn't be your only source of diagnosis. If you're really really sure you're a psychopath, try and bring it up to a professional.

This is true. It's one of the easiest ways to make unique premises. However, please try to avoid writing a story purely to spite certain genres or tropes. Only do anti-trope stories if you actually love that trope and understand its inner workings. Otherwise, your story would seem preachy and...
