Now the only thing missing is agents not knowing that they are agents, shapeshifters, memory theft, backstabbing, and everything will be excellent.

"If that is your choice, very well. Good day." Then Exal mumbles to itself: "Now, if I knew 50% of what, it would be quite helpful - I suppose I will have to inspect conversation logs as well as quest reports and see if I can find an answer. But she is surprisingly stubborn and emotional."

"More than enough firewood, so that is the quest completed. Now let's see. If you didn't need the axe, why did you borrow it in the first place? And it's not a pet, so whether you take care of it or not isn't important. The issue actually is that the axe is part of the guild's equipment and with...

Calmly adjusting its glasses, Exal simply answers: "While the so-called gods of your old world might have been daemons, its is not guaranteed to be the same here. However, I can understand your concern - relying on external powers isn't exactly calming. If you are so against using a priest's...

"I can't force you to do anything. But this is a new world and there might be new solutions you are not aware of yet. As far as I know, priests, in particular, are quite good at exorcising spirits, undead, and demons."

Heh. The answer to this question is simple. How would I know? I'm certain that alchemists would have proper face masks or even gas masks, as chemical reactions tend to create poisonous gasses which can be quite lethal.

"It is indeed a bottle of Slumber Queen Jelly, so that is the quest completed. I can only say that a stealthy approach was absolutely correct, however, you obviously were not careful enough. If I had to guess, they probably detected your smell or followed the smell of the Queen Jelly. However...

"Overestimating yourself and underestimating another are almost the same. In addition, underestimating someone else is equal to overestimating one's analytic skills. There is no guarantee this won't happen again, so I have to again recommend that you take measures ASAP."

"You managed to complete the quest, which is good, however, it seems like you overestimated yourself. And that daemon seems like a major problem, so I'd recommend you find some permanent measures to deal with it. Anyway, here's your reward." Final Reward: Exp: 150 Money: 14G

Well, depends on what you define as plot/story. The Crimson Coins are a criminal organization that my character infiltrated which is currently running a protection racket and is aggressively expanding in Scribel City. It's less of a plot/story, and more of a thing that should be dealt with.

Well, there is that criminal gang I just mentioned which should be dealt with before it grows too big to easily be stopped.

I'll try not to disappoint o7 The thing is that Exal is essentially incapable of drama. Which is why the human subroutine will have to be the one with the drama.

@Feathers95 prepare for a human subroutine! Inner conflict! Drama! Alter egos! Drama! Identity crisis! Drama! Oh, and the cosmic algorithm. And, tbh, not as much drama. Far from it, actually.

Meanwhile, my character is about to reach the E rank exam but still hasn't grown stronger in the slightest. Oh well. Once at E rank, Exal will reach the next stage of my powerlevel plan, so it should be fine.
