I've gotten a head-start on the revisions for Chapter 5 of Duskfall while I wait for the poll for Aestelle Nocte's Chapter 4.2 to close.
What I can say for now, is that Chapter 5 focuses heavily on Morrigan, with secondary focus on Bel's activities as they return to Saphria to begin carrying out Lucius' plan, but Morrigan has her own ideas...

As a bit of a teaser for Chapter 4, part 2. I will be including the first shared shower-scene of the story in that chapter, and has a total wordcount of 3,215 words. It's already written, ready to go, and based on my beta-reader feedback, "Steamy as hell without being too much."

Duskfall Chapter 4.2 has been released.
This is the second half of the climax of Duskfall's first story arc.
Chapter 5 (to be released later this month if all goes well) is the transitional chapter into the second story arc of Volume 1.

To put it in perspective... I haven't even gotten to the "good stuff" yet, and it's already sitting at 2300 words.

Just tested again, and the results were positive for Covid.
Can't say I'm surprised, but it does explain why this cold has been as bad as it was.
Starting on an additional regimen of paxlovid tomorrow, and that should help reduce the symptoms as well.

Ugh...
This cold is really kicking my ass.
Still feeling like shit, but haven't tested positive for covid yet. (I have been exposed, so this could very well still be the early stages of covid... again).
All of my writing is on hold for the time being, until I can concentrate for more than a couple of minutes on the words in front of me.

40/10 for those who're curious. - Write for 40 minutes, take a 10 minute break, rinse and repeat.
The goal today is ~2,000 words. If I can manage that, great. If I can manage more, even better. [3000 / 5000]
