RR is way harder to get traction. It's been less than a month, but still...on SH I have 2.5x that.

I am serious~. I get cuddly comments there, but maybe it is my genre.

They review significantly more, in my experience.

They are also more likely to pay.

Yes, with only this amount of followers, my patreon already making close to 50 dollars. Comparatively, I have 250 followers/readers on SH and no Patrons from here yet.

I didn't get a cent for 100 chapters from the readers here either, but I chalk that up to me not setting up advance chapters.

Yee SH readers tend to add your books to their reading list but they dont actually read. My average views on RR are 30% higher than on SH even though the reader count there is only 1/4 of SH.

I have noticed that, too.

It took me 9 months to get just 69 readers. I'm happy when I update a chapter... the number of readers increases even if it's only by 1 or 2 readers.

I am writing something that's popular, so it's not the same. I said it before, but my goal is to make 10k a month. My sub goal right now is getting 5k by the end of Summer time.

Smut?

No smut. Smut actually has an upper limit and can't make very much compared to not smut. The most earning novels on RR are not smut.

I did mess up and make my Patreon 18+, and you can't reverse that. So...some people might not subscribe if they see the thing that says 18+ when they join.
