It's best to research the market and find a narrative style that suits you, unless you're writing fiction for self-actualisation/hobby.

I did, but it made me more confused. I started it as just a hobby and didn't think much so my story didn't include almost any of the popular tropes.
but when I researched other stories then I felt it was absurd how much they matter for audience retention.

Will probably make a thread about it later.

And my job makes it hard to write chapters regularly, so i will first write around 200 chapters and then start publishing the story again.
