    What do you guys think of a Naruto fanfiction with old school flip phones and convenience stores with less violence and more character driven growth. I've spoken about it before, and in struggling to decide if I should write it while I take a break from researching my novel

    @NotaNuffian nah, there will be violence, less looney tunes, more john wick. If I do write it, the combat will be bloodier with psychological impact on the character.

    Depending if the website allow, let your finger on the image so it open the menu(options), click "copy link to the image"
    then go here, and click the "image" icon (left side of emojis)
    and past the link there.

    I say "if it allow" bc some websites dont allow resharing of images. So they input some anti-thief methods. Similar to QIDIAN not allowing CTRL-C of the text.

    He doesn't fit the Criteria of a Gary Stu. What because he's better at fighting than everyone else, how often has he been wounded, and barely left a fight?

    The MC is kind of a finished product, he already survived various wars, and his life as a child soldier was an entire story in its own. Him being a gary stu was most likely because of the fights he managed to dominate.

    My memory of the manhwa was fuzzy since it had been a long time, since I last read, but I stopped around the part where he was nerfed from being sick and had to fight his former superiors/co-workers. That hadn't been a gary stu moment, but I remember the rest of the story of him being overpowered. I wished it had more slice of life.
