Sun's False Embrace
Residing in desolation
Frozen
No joy to partake
Immobile
A smile plastered on my face

Kids filled with joy
Gone
Blazing light way up high
Melting
Even then I stay awake

Highway
Dancing in the road,
Rain soaking my clothes,
Playing on a tightrope.
Cars flying by,
Inches from my life
Maybe next time.
Tears made of rain,
Drowning out my pain.
I've never felt quite this free
Forest Feast
With fur whiter than snow
Eyes colder than stone
Why do you stay in this forest home
There are men hunting beasts
For more than just a feast
Sights blinded green
So leave
Or your pup will be someone's feast
Scalp skinned to cover another's meat

Imagine telling your sister to erase someone score as a joke therefore making it seem like she cheater when they find out so that all her previous wins will be invalid... Who would be that petty ?
