So something that bugs me is how in some novels, people wear masks to protect themselves from foul air. Gas masks are cool, plague doctors masks are cooler. But they are not perfect. If the air is 99% nitrogen for example, someone will just take two steps, get dizzy pass out and not feel anything wrong for example. Point being, a mask can protect from some things but bad air? Nope.

Laser sighted guns are not good. A police officer friend of mine said the only thing the red dot accomplishes is reducing reaction time searching for the red dot.
