I mean, yes, you can do whatever you want.

Just when you create a somewhat realistic world, it makes sense to limit the colors a little. If crazy colors like Blue and Purple fit into the world, you can use them, of course. However, if it's a semi-realistic setting, it makes sense to tone it down a little.
