This account was originally a clone / alt / throwaway account so I didn’t think very hard about the username.

I had been using “min” as a nickname somewhere elsewhere, so I just added a bunch of letters at the end so I could register it as an account.

I don’t think of myself as “min” or “minacia” though. My main online username that I use for discord and elsewhere is still my original NUF account even though I never log into that account anymore.

Old name was controversial opinion because I am a contrarian. Contro is short for that. Somewhere in between making this account and deleting my old one, I was knighted. That's where Sir comes from.

What is their relationship?

When WoW came out in 2004, I needed to create a name there. I hate inventing names (yes, I struggle with that in my stories too). So I asked my brother to just make some suggestions. He said a couple of options, and I picked Thiris. And 22 years later, I still use that one everywhere.

And honestly, I feel sometimes more comfortable when people call me Thiris than my real name.

Because I realized a few years ago that if you take the first letter of my last name, the first two letters of my first name, and the first three letters of my middle name, you get "badger"...if you don't know how to spell "badger". Luckily, I do know to spell "badger", so I did that, then added "CountVan" in front of it because it sounded cool.

Fun fact, those numbers are also Miku-sama's numbers~
39 can be read as Mi-ku in Japanese hence why that's Miku day and her number wordplay (goroawase) :D

The story of how I came up with my nickname is pretty simple, I created the email for this account on the same day I got a classmate suspended for a week, as revenge for him having “accidentally” left me hanging on a school project that was worth 60% of the final grade, that day, I needed an email just to play some game ( I don’t even remember which one anymore ) and I ended up choosing Devilish. Ever since then, every profile linked to that email has used that name (except for my Discord).
