One time when I was in high school I snuck out to smoke a bowl at the start of history class. That class I found out later consisted of a group activity where we were supposed to be the congress factions at the time of abolition.

There were 3 factions, the south, the north and the west. Each group had to assign someone to be the party 'whip' and talk to the others to form a collation.

Yesterday I noticed the downspouts were clogged but it was raining like crazy. I told myself I'd take the downspout off and try to break up the clog with an auger. The weather was nice. There is such a thing as being too accurate to the setting. For example, if I wanted a story based in 1611 I could use the way they spelled at the time.

EX:

The Uision of Isaiah the sonne of Amoz, which hee sawe concerning Iudah and Ierusalem, in the dayes of Uzziah, Iotham, Ahaz, & Hezekiah kings of Iudah.
