Please Add A Darker (OLED) Darkmode.

Hello, everyone. Currently use an HDR monitor, so Scribblehub's darkmode is actually pretty bright to me. I'm autistic, and have light sensitivity (all my devices have light blocking tape on them, my windows are all blacked out, and even my bedroom door is sealed, all so that I can avoid light...

    Beta Readers No Longer Needed

I haven't read it, but I'd heavily recommend to NOT have such long chapters. For web novels, most people drop off if a chapter is too long. Rather than 10,000 per chapter, 500-1,000 is better. This is from personal experience, btw. (longest chapter I've ever written was 17,000 words...)

Bulk import, or multi-chapter adding, would be nice!

I couldn't really find much information on that feature, though. Like, will it just upload and release chapters from a PDF or whatever file format, or can I schedule them? Feature sounds great, but I need more information that doesn't seem to be findable about it, oof. Funnily enough, I have...

    Help needed!!!

I would suggest checking out this section of FMHY which focuses on learning languages. I tried every AI translator tool, and each one scorned and ruined my novels far too much, not even being slightly acceptable. As for official, real translation companies (ones that don't ALSO just run your...

    Non prudish alternatives to Patreon?

Thanks for all the suggestions! Losing a $100 a month source of income really, really hurts. So I am just going to go for broke, and set up pages on every site, haha.

    Non prudish alternatives to Patreon?

So, uh... my Patreon account just got nuked. (I am guessing that it was from Syrilblia being uploaded there? Maybe...) Besides Subscribestar, are there any other platforms similar to Patreon? Hopefully, ones that aren't so willfully prudish still exist... (And by that, I mean sites where...

On Author Dashboard, allow more Novels per page.

I should add that, I only recently realized that you could sort novels, so this really isn't a problem at all. (I just sorted the novels that I am still working on at the top, which makes it so that I don't have to go forward a page, haha.)

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

Thanks for the reply! And, yeah. I will keep all my novels posted on RoyalRoad and Scribblehub. (IE, I am not taking that specific Amazon KDP deal.) As for content... Just counting released chapters, I have well over 1mil words posted on this site. (Going by what RoyalRoad says.)

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

IS IT!?? Edit: I can only find rules for the forum, not the rules for novels. Which do state that offsite links aren't allowed in some cases. Clarification on this would be nice, as I do not wish to be breaking any rules. Thank you!

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

I know that I bring up features from Royalroad that SH doesn't have a lot, but this one is cool, too. Not having to push people to go to the first chapter when they want to purchase a novel is nice. It would great if you could do the same on Sh, so I don't have to spam author notes with links to...

On Author Dashboard, allow more Novels per page.

This one is suuuper niche, but is something that would be nice. Already, the author novel dashboard thing has two pages for me, and as I have many, many more novels planned, I only foresee it getting longer. In reality, for me, this is an extremely minor thing. After all, I tend to just...

The Ultimate Guide to Writing Novels with Obsidian!

:Introduction: Hello, like many writers, I am insane. Insane in the sense that I need my workflow to be as perfect as humanly possible. Most writing software, such as Scrivener, word, etc. Aren't up to these tasks. Most of them have major, major drawbacks. The solution? Obsidian! Literally, it...
