Wrote 4k words for my chapter 1 today. Will try another 4k tmr for chapter 2, until my 'writing mode' kicks in and breeze through Volume 19 before end of June.
For now, I will take a writing break.

Two days left...
Parent irresponsibilities rearing its ugly head. I need to prolong my patience.
As a Grade 10 adviser, I have nothing to do today, after I finished all my paperworks fast.
However, tomorrow and on Friday will be hectic. This may be the 'calm before the storm.'
Any case, I'll be completely free by June 1.
So yeah, now that I'm done with my paperworks, I need 'ninja skills' to hide my presence once I arrive at my workplace.
Any suggestions?
No sane, working person ever woke up to the first sound of his/her alarm.
Imma read some stuff and prepare myself for a month of writing. Volume 19 has long been overdue.
Hans: *finishes his paperworks fast and with no mistakes.

The saddest part in teaching is when a teacher finally succeeds, and his students leave the classroom one last time.

Me: Here's a better, faster and more accurate way of doing this work. I'll teach you as long as you need help.
My co-teachers: No, we'll stick to this time-consuming, slow and tedious work arrangement coz it's what we're used to!

I did say I want a simple cover...though I guess this one's better without the title and my pen name.
Now I'm finished with the main paperworks.
Only stuff left are my class attendances and their grad pics on the powerpoint slides for the move up ceremonies.
Out of 60 students in my advisory class, I got one who left school and never came back, and one that failed coz of petty office politics.
The 58 others will move up. It's a wild School Year 2023-2024.
It's my tradition to conduct a 'Last Lesson' to each of my section every last day of the 'regular class'.
And I think those are the most important discussions, since I go outside my subject matter and teach my students life lessons. -
