"Definitively, I gotta change a few things or completly remove it if possible."

After finishing breakfast, Eudes stood up and rubbed his temples. Now instead of going home, he has to change his schedule!
He cleared his throat and continued to speak.

"I will accompany you. Before that, do you know where the library is? I tried to go there at some point but, as you already know, I got lost."
"I don't know... but I got a map." He pulled out a folded paper from his pocket and looked for the building that says library. "Yeah. It's not far from here. Let's go."

He stood up and left the cafeteria with Eudes.

'Hmm I guess I was correct to not worry her. She seems like the type to worry about others too much. Which can become troublesome if I'm the target of her worry.' Ciel thought before handing her the note he wrote in response.

I'm fine, thank your for asking. But I think I will stay here a bit longer to finish my book before I head out. I should be finished in 10 minutes, you should go ahead. I do have the map you have me so you don't have to guide me.
Reading the note, it almost felt like he was creating a barrier to stop me getting closer - figuratively. I didn't want to make him feel pressured, so I smiled at him before writing my final note to him:

'I hope you enjoy your book!
I'll be going to a different section to do some self-study for a while.
Enjoy the rest of your day, and don't forget to eat!
'

After passing the note, I smiled at him one last time before getting up from my seat and heading to a deeper section of the library.

After Ciel read the note he relaxed a bit.

'Interacting with new people is always so stressful. I'm never sure what is the right thing so say. The last thing I need is making enemies when I don't need too.' Ciel thought before finishing his book.

After he finished, he put it back and stood up to get something to eat. After looking at the map, he nodded and started walking to the cafeteria.

Elizabeth has a plan. After observing another student submitting her classes list to the teacher who barely acknowledged her presence, the girl decided to schedule her classes to the time with as many students as possible. That way, the teachers won't notice if she is missing.

Keeping one of her eyes hidden under her bangs is a surefire way to not be noticed as the only student with weird eyes that stared on different directions. A Revin family trait. She looked like a normal female student now. Almost. She should start interacting with other normal students to blend more with the normal society.

The aroma of the bread alone had Lisette salivated in her own mouth, but she kept it within her mouth as they moved along. Swir was being super generous in not only giving her a tour of campus but also giving her distinct and clear instructions on what she could and should not do.

She looked up at the library, remembering that Veronika said she frequents this place often. She mentioned her study periods and home sessions earlier that morning.

“The library sounds like a great opportunity to learn a vast amount of knowledge. And I definitely won’t be alone that late studying. I hope anyways.” Lisette smiled and wondered if there was an easier way to contact people. Like her time on earth, they had phones to text and call — but this area was not like The present day. “But I will ask a second year or third year to accompany me if I do plan to stay that late. I don’t know how classes will go quite yet, I hope it’ll go smoothly.” She looked at the clock tower Swir pointed at. It looked like a decent place to hideout if someone wanted to be alone.
"Mhm, most first year classes probably won't necessitate staying up that late. Though if you find yourself in a doozy at the last minute and in need of company, feel free to knock on my dorm door. My sleeping schedule is pretty messed up anyway."

Smiling, Swir stepped into the cafeteria, staring over at the line for buying breakfast.

"Thank goodness, it's not that long."

Doing some self-study, I gathered a few books from the Advanced sections of certain subjects I was studying, before I carried them over to a table with some other Third Years also doing some self-study. "It seems I'm not the only one already preparing for the exams..." Sitting next to a male Third Year, and opposite a female Third Year - their names escaped me at that moment - I picked up the top book and began reading through it. As I did so, I made sure to write notes on things I thought would prove useful as a future reference.

As the time began to pass by, I wondered how all the new First Years were doing - hoping they all were managing to find everywhere they needed to go, as well as making new friends.

“Understood!” She saluted Swir with great gusto. “I‘ll be sure to give you a heads up if I do find myself in some trouble!” She was a bit concerned to hear that she had a sleeping schedule that was messed up, but maybe there was something she could make her as thanks for the tour around campus. Although she was curious of the remaining rumors.

She heard about the grand piano in the storage room. The greenhouse. The library... what other fascinating or potential scary things could be located at the school! Lisette followed Swir into the cafeteria, her stomach was literally praising the joyous smells of foods entering her senses. The line was not too long at all. They must have missed the big rush. Lucky~

”I’m so glad the line isn’t long! I think my stomach would protest if it was.” She laughed when it rumbled almost to spite her now. “And its really hungry.”

"Be sure not to dig in too quickly if that's the case, your stomach would really protest then, hehe."

Laughing good-naturedly, Swir got herself a helping of porridge with a loaf of bread and waited, eyeing for empty tables in the meantime.

"It seems that people do really sleep in for the weekends after all. Though the number of early risers aren't too low either --- what are your plans after this, Lizzy?"

Following two students into the cafetaria, Elizabeth listened to their conversation and concluded that the nickname "Lizzy" is already taken. She needs to find another nickname for herself. Eli, perhaps?

Eli's stalking and information gathering skills leveled up. Now she can simultaneously stalk up to three targets without getting caught.

Her stomach was trying to calculate how much she could actually eat, but she knew her mind would limit the food choices by half. She smiled to Swir and also picked up her breakfast. Her plate had already been stuffed with some small cheese bites, some different but prepared fruit bites, and she made sure to get a piece of bread. A small bowl of porridge later she could see most of the tables were indeed empty.

“Maybe I am weird for waking up at weird hours in the morning on a weekend.“ Lisette chuckled and placed her tray down on one of tables near Swir. She pulled out a chair for Swir to sit down before sitting down herself.

“Well, I think I might go to the nurse’s office to pick up some muscle ointments, and maybe see if I can find some books on Enchanting and creating high quality items.“ She pulled a part some of her bread and dipped a small bite full into the soupy substance. “Im mostly going to relax after that. I may just sit outside and read. It‘s a nice day for it.” She waited patiently before starting to eat. She didn’t want to be rude.

“Do you have anything planned Swir?”

"Mhm, I was planning to head into the city to procure some materials later, but I think the greenhouse will have to subsist until next week."

Running through the list of available plants she'd noticed from earlier, Swir made a note of the ones which she was going to nab as she ate her bread.

"Enchanting and Item Creation? Hmm, that's a good field to study in. Seems like we'll be heading in different ways after lunch, then."

The girl idly looked over to the trees, enjoying her porridge, and smiled as she noticed a raven perched on one of the branches.

Lisette ate as politely as she possibly could, it wasn’t as if she would be embarrassed to much if she stuffed her face, but Swir’s words from before about her potentially getting sick if she ate too quickly definitely helped slow her down. She chewed her bites evenly and carefully, making sure they were swallowed without further incident. The food was—simply divine. There was no way around it.

“Is the city open to all students, or is that an Upperclassman requisite?” She was genuinely interested in how to obtain permission, especially if she needed to obtain her own materials there. “It must be a busy time for everyone preparing for their classes then, trying to get everything in order, whether its materials or books to study.“ Again she thought back to the small black haired noble from before.

Everyone there had goals and aspirations. Which made Lisette smile more broadly. If she could help in someway to keep it peaceful for these students to achieve their dreams, they had to survive the otome game designs to—something?

“Yes, I thought it would be great to provide services to our student classes by possibly making a commissions board for requests. Maybe with time, practice, and perseverance I can support those who need it.”

When Swir said it seemed like they would be heading separate ways after lunch, she felt a bit bad, but knew that she also had some things that needed to get done. “Yeah that might be true, but I definitely enjoyed our time together! I would very much like to learn more from you! I’m still interested in hearing more about the seven wonders!” She ate a few pieces of her cheese with exuberance.

"Hmm, I'm not too sure about it, but last I checked, there shouldn't be any requirements for visiting the city on the weekends. As for the procurement of materials, the academy provides the ones that are used in classes, but since I'm running a few tests in my free time, I'll have to source for the ingredients myself. The greenhouse will get touchy if I took too much for use, after all."

Chuckling slightly, Swir noticed the raven flying towards her, and held out her hands to receive it. The bird settled on her shoulder comfortably, and caw'd a few times.

"Ah, that's great news. Thank you for the message."

After the bird had flown off, Swir turned back to Lisette with a thoughtful expression.

"A commission board for supplies exclusive from the city...hmm, that's a do-able idea. I think you'll have to get some permissions from the school and seek out cilents amidst the students conducting their own experiments, but it does sound like a profitable endeavour. As for the remaining four wonders, it'll probably be better if I give you something to make contacting me simpler. Hmm..."

From the way it sounded, Lisette would be able to visit the city freely on the weekends at least. When Swir mentioned her own tests and studies, it made Lisette wonder if their later classes would require more time for self study and exploration of their magical talents. It did make since why Swir would need to head to the city to gather some materials, especially with the greenhouse being a limited commodity for everyone on campus.

Lisette watched the black bird, a raven, fly down to Swir’s side, and watched the cute interaction between the two of them. With it perched so comfortably on her shoulder, they surely must have known each other. And they seemed to be able to understand one another? Maybe it was apart of her magic. She quizzically watched, hearing her cryptic message about something being great news.

And as soon as the raven had landed, it was gone, flying away.

“I thought so too, it would be easy for students to gather materials if I could craft and make them. But that would require me to ensure quality and quantity levels.” But she couldn’t think further on that as Swir mentioned more about the rest of the wonders and maybe a simpler way to contact her. Lisette’s eyes widened with joy at the prospect.

“Is there a way?”

"Some old books in the library mention spells that let people talk with their minds, something akin to long-range group telepathy, but such spells are very high up the Arcane tree, and I'm not very knowledgeable about that...hmm, it's not nearly as flashy, but this will have to do for now."

Swir had taken out a pebble and stick from her effects, placing the former on the table. Then she tapped the pebble a few times with the stick, making a writing motion with her hand.

ᚨᛚᛖᚱᛏ

Passing the pebble over to Lisette, Swir gestured at the faintly glowing carvings.

"It's rather rudimentary, but should you find yourself in need of my assistance, pour water on the markings. That'll break the spell and get my attention."

The books made it all the more tempting to learn the Archaic language to understand such an advanced spell. It would definitely be beneficial in the future. She made a quick mental note to discuss with the librarian about these types of books and what specific languages would be best to study that type of delicate long range telepathy. But with her focus Toward enchanting and crafting, it may be something she’d have to hold off on for sometime. She still needed permissions do to what she wanted to do.

“That’s amazing!” She accepted the pebble given to her and smile brightly. “Alright! I’ll make sure to keep this in my inven—I mean my school bag in case I ever need to call you!” Lisette had to catch herself that time, she really needed to watch her tongue or she’d get some bad juju placed on her one day. The writing was delicate and pretty, something she had never seen before. “Wow.” She admired the magic with sparkly eyes.

“Just pour water—got it!” She gave her senior a thumbs up. ”Thank you Swir!”

She finished the remaining bits of her food, and was happy for the company that day. Lisette had met quite a few more people, and was able to get to know several individuals. She hoped to know some of her future classmates as well.

An alert rune. Not bad. The spell will notify Swir if something happened to Lisette. Like being pushed from the third floor. Or not.

Elizabeth has nothing against the two. In fact, watching them interact with each other is a pleasant experience. Since it's very unlikely for someone to be dying today, Elizabeth wondered if she can get to know them better. That Lisette girl seemed to be thinking the same about her future classmates.

Buying a random sandwich that is sadly not the fabled golden eggwich, Elizabeth revealed her existence to the senior and the other Lizzie.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?"

"Ah, you're the girl I met in the infirmary. Elizabeth, wasn't it? By all means, please do."

Swir sipped carefully from a cup.

"So, did you manage to find out who brought you to the infirmary yesterday?"

"I was told it's someone from the Student Council." The girl shook her head, "But I'm not sure if I can remember their name. I'm sorry if I said something strange back in the infirmary. I wasn't exactly myself back then."

"No offense taken. How's everything so far? Getting used to the academy?"

Well, if it's someone from the Student Council, then that narrows it down a lot...oh, well.
