Quick question about the "Donation system"

I feel like I've asked before but can't remember with certainty. That button that appears at the bottom, automatically, that shows "support Random Book with Ko-fI," that isn't what is meant by a fanfic containing a for-profit link? Makes enough sense for me to just not ask for a donation, but I wasn't sure if like, I'm supposed to turn a certain setting off for a certain fanfic.
Nothing of it is live right now, but I want to cover the basis ahead of time.

You don't need to turn any setting on or off. Labeling that story as fanfic will disable the button on the story.

Ah, that makes sense then. I'll make sure to lable and also preface the fact that it's a fan fic.
Do I need to include a list of all used fandoms at beginning or end, or is the list of 5 good enough?

I have no idea. Never made a fanfiction. I only know how the button hiding works because I just went to check on @Corty profile stories.

1. Tag your fanfiction with the Fanfiction tag. I'm pretty sure just the tag is enough, and it does not need any fandoms for the automatic detection.
2. Do not put any donation links, including Ko-fi, into the summary or chapters directly. The automatic detection should butcher them, but no reason to tempt it.
3. Especially do not try to evade the link detection by changing the words like "p@treon", as that will lead to the book getting taken down and possibly a ban as soon as it's found out.

This section confused me slightly, because it limits the submission to "5 lines." Should I include all possible fandoms in this area, perhaps with comma separation? (there are more than 5).

I've reported books with this, and they don't get removed. It seems to me that only full links get removed, lol

There's a book on trending from time to time with a shortened URL, and even 'buy for x chapters, then xx' with perks at the end of some chapters, and it doesn't get removed. Another one just spelled 'patron' instead, and it just works. In other words, they can keep monetizing it all they want, just don't add a full link

I see. I didn’t click on the novel, just the Quick Read option on the author page.

Just the fandoms you will include. If there are more than five, pick the five most popular ones
