Ever since I launched XNPC in February, I had the chapters scheduled to release at 5:00pm (American central time). My reasoning was that if I uploaded before that, people would still be at work. My subscribers would get the notification, but there would be fewer people to see it during the brief time it's on the front page. But I just realized that people aren't at home at 5pm, they're just clocking out of work. They're not going to be checking their phones and reading stories while driving home from the office. So I'm considering changing the upload time to 6pm, since by then most people will have gotten home and will be more likely to be in relaxation mode and ready to read a book.
Would moving my upload time back one hour be worth it, or would the difference be so minimal that I may as well just keep it where it is?

You lose the latest spot far too quickly for it to matter.
