Managed to reach chapter 10 on here again!

For those not in the know, my webnovel, Neapolitan Nightmares, suddenly didn't show up in the updated list and also completely disappeared from my profile. The moderator wouldn't answer any messages about what was going on so I deleted the novel and am now slowly updating it day by day(ish) until I get back to the actual current chapter count.

I've managed to get up to chapter 10 by now, and I'd like to hear some thoughts from these early chapters! I didn't make a feedback thread for it back then after all so now I'm seizing the opportunity

2. Ban evading can get your account banned as far as I know.

Just make sure you don't break the rules. Maybe I'm wrong, but reuploading your story for the sole purpose of evading your ban doesn't sound like good advice to me.

Huh? yes I do...?

Also the story wasn't banned, you could still access it via a link but for some reason it wouldn't show up in the "recently updated" section and even though I received likes and comments the view count was completely frozen
I tried contacting the moderators what was going on but I didn't get any word back so I'm reuploading it instead

yep, sent like...2 or 3 messages? And to this day no message back, I'm guessing they receive too many messages so mine fell to the wayside starting anew made more sense instead of waiting for months and months with no response, especially since my backlog would be even bigger and take WAY longer to upload slowly here, I'm not even 1/3 finished with uploading to the most recent chapter...even with days where I upload two chapters...

Basically, the Mods of the Forum have nothing to do with the main site - main site is maintained by Tony alone, as far as I'm aware, and some bots that check for things, to approve or disapprove of new stories, cover images, etc.
It might be that he just didn't get around to it. But it's true that it was likely a "shadow ban", as they call it - or at least from what I heard about it, it fits the bill - so deleting it to go around that ban was not such a great idea. ._.

Hmm...If that really was the case, my messages were about how my story didn't actually break any rules, it was falsely reported and I wanted someone to actually review the contents of story rather than going around with a hammer blindly without even stating the reason why. I'm saying "If" because I've seen threads by other authors who also had their stories hidden for seemingly no reason and some said it might've just been a site glitch...perhaps I'll never know what really happened with the old version...

Que sera sera, I'm just gonna hope the same thing won't happen again.
