So, you are on a site with an endless amount of stories for free and try to sell stories? Now, that's just silly.I posted the following on my wall on Scribble Hub:
Make your anime smut fantasies come true!
Let me write the story you (yes, only you!) want to read.
What am I getting at?
Would you like to find yourself in one of your favorite anime worlds, build a harem, or just let your kinks run wild?
Just message me on Scribble Hub. Whether it’s a self-insert or a protagonist of your choice, a one-shot or a multi-chapter story, whether you’re longing for love or the fulfillment of strange kinks (pedophilia is a no-go—other than that, I’m open to (almost) anything).
I’ll make your wishes come true!
Price: €5 per 1,000 words.
If you’re interested, just message me and we’ll work out the details.
Do you think this could cause any problems, or do you think the idea itself is silly?
I find the idea of being presented with different topics and ideas and putting them into practice interesting.
And do you think the price is justified?
From a user’s perspective, I think it’s quite high; but as an author, knowing the time required and the standards I set for a text that someone is paying for, I actually find it very low.
Thanks for reading—here's a peanut butter cup for you!
Not gonna lie, that's kinda slow.'m pretty sure I type less than a thousand words per hour
I dont need to make a living wage. Id just liek a side hustle. And i am already a published writer. Just not in english.A fiver per thousand words? That's not going to add up very fast. I don't know if you write faster or slower than me or even if you type faster or slower than me but… I'm pretty sure I type less than a thousand words per hour, at least while writing and not just copying. I don't think you're going to earn much of a living wage off that. The real way to make money off of writing is do your time as a fanfic writer to build a following and then transition over to original content and start selling it on Amazon. You earn a lot more money per word when there's more than one person reading it, but you need to be a known name to get any traction. That's the indie scene of course. The real real way to make money off of writing is work for a newspaper or magazine. But you kinda need a degree to get in the door on those ones.
Writing's a competitive industry. Its like being an actor, there's always other talent to exploit
That's the other thing I meant to bring up. I make $100 per 4000 words, and by professional writing standards, that's pretty much working for peanuts.A fiver per thousand words? That's not going to add up very fast.
I would recommend you remove this part from your self-advertisement, due to potential copyright infringement. And if you post the resulting fanfictions publicly, do not advertise you were paid for them.find yourself in one of your favorite anime worlds
That does make sense. Thank you very much!I would recommend you remove this part from your self-advertisement, due to potential copyright infringement. And if you post the resulting fanfictions publicly, do not advertise you were paid for them.
