When is it a good time to publish new chapters?

Currently, I've been publishing Saturday and Sunday at 7pm pacific time, but my story has been rather stagnant on views for a while. Like I'll get some views for the new chapters but very little growth on the first chapters.

I was wondering if maybe I'm publishing at the wrong time. Like maybe changing my upload schedule might help?

I noticed that I get better views when I post in the afternoon rather than the evening at around 3 - 5 pm CST. If I post too late in the evening I typically get less views.

It really does not matter.

Option 1: You post at a time when more people are on, and your post gets seen by a 20 people for 30 seconds.

Option 2: You post at a time when on one is on, and your post is on longer and gets seen by 20 people for an hour.

Okay, noted. Didn't think of that :blob_hmm:

Go to the bathroom, first. Flush, and wash your hands. Then post.

only publish any chapter at 4:20.
Not 4:19.
Not 4:21.
4:20, only.

AM or PM, your choice.

Real advice: spread it out, hit different timezones. If you keep things on a rotation for awhile it'll help with visibility.

That's good :blob_hmm: clever. Oh but won't that make it difficult for my current audience to keep up without needing to check in daily?

Sat and Sun are too close for posting. The trick is to spread your posts across the week, which might give you a higher chance of reaching the top 50 trending list. Yes, readers will use filters and check out your book even if you aren’t in the top 9. If the momentum is good, you might eventually move up the rankings. You already have a lot of chapters, and even if just 2–3 people go through the entire book, leaving likes and comments, it can give a boost.

How would you recommend that I space them out?

Possibly, but personally I haven't found this to be an issue at all. A lot of people on this site are on it daily anyway, and they might not be on at the same time.
WHY DID I NEVER THINK OF THIS
Lol only really helps in early days! After that you have to figure out how to get on Rising, which apparently requires spells. I went from averaging 300 views/day to around 1000/day and never even cracked the top 25.

The site seems to get more traffic on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays than it does on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I always assumed that while we introverts are chilling at home, the extroverts are too busy doing stuff to read on weekends.

Truth, though Sundays are always my highest traffic days. I assume people are balancing out The Lord with Futa smut.
