I'm just a big anime fan that has watched about 500+ Anime/Manga/Videogames on the scene.
I mainly specialize in Shonen and Action, but do still know about the bigger picture of Anime culture.
I still have a lot to still see, so I'm not a know it all either.
But what is mainly Shonen Anime, Isekai, high budget, popular, I probably watched it or read the manga already.
From the classics that are too long: One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball
The Manga only: Berserk, Vagabond, Claymore
Iconic videogames: From Software's Souls, Square Enix's FF, Nintendo Games
The newest trending: Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, even Kagurabachi(keep an eye on that one ?).
So the thing, I want to meet more writers that have original stories very rooted between Japanese story telling tropes. We can discuss characters, relationships, worldbuilding, power systems. And even become accountability partners for any on-going story if it sounds fun.
Whether you’re writing something inspired by Shōnen arcs, Isekai systems, or anime-style romances, I’d love to chat and swap ideas and maybe even story reviews!
So if you have anything to say how your craft is inspired by anime or what you seek to accomplish in relation to these tropes this is thread to talk about it!
