Whenever I am bored I surf through this forum a bit. Going to all the various forum sections.
And whenever I go to latest chapter discussion forum its mostly self promo.
Is this because most people dont care for chapter discussions?

And if it is a self promo forum. Should I also be spamming every chapter release over there?

Sort of..

No.
Its like screaming into the void.
There... is the endless wasteland
Where the dead speak louder than the living
What awaits is only the sound of silence.
Yeah that does make sense. None of those threads actually get any fruitful replies.

Well, it makes more sense on an older site (okay, specifically Novel Updates) where there isn't a comments section.
But since Scribble Hub has comments, the "latest chapter discussion" naturally takes place in those comments…

Isnt that forum kinda useless then. Might as well rename it to self promo. Actually it might get flooded with way too many threads if that happens.

Yes, every single one. They won't show up in a search request, nor will they appear in "Updated".

To be honest, I'm a bit miffed. So, ScribbleHub should change their claims from "we accept erotic stories" to "we accept erotic stories but we'll make sure no one will ever see them here."
You are right I cant search your stories. But I have seen stories labelled with the warning "Sexual Content" in the latest updates tab many times.

their claims from "we accept erotic stories"
To be fair, I have not seen those words anywhere in the content guidline.

In fact there is a lot more bells and whistles, hoops and check boxes to consider for sexual content when I read the guild line.

Yes, Scribble Hub generally accepts erotic stories, but with specific limitations and guidelines
You misunderstand, I mean exactly the words "we accept eroctic story" was never said specifically, unless it is actually said in the guidelines and I missed it.

Coz all I see is bunch a rules and with the line.
"We reserve the right to remove any content we deem to be inappropriate."

Which may seem like me being "lawyer" pedantic, but that was all I was saying.

The idea of where "the line" is up to the mod, so just saying they [claim "we accept eroctic story"] feels like an over simplification of what is and not accepted.

But they're not removing it. That's where they get you. Like I said, they can just make sure no one sees it.
Exactly.
They never claimed
"we accept erotic stories"

Instead I think it closer to, "we accept stories, if they happen to have sex or are erotic there are a bunch of conditions."

they can just make sure no one sees it.
They can, they can do what ever they want, which includes not doing that. or doing whatever they are doing right now.

Besides this is me guessing.

"Fifty Shades of Tan" is not hidden

"Luna" might be under review still
coz Tony seems to be on holiday(?)

The others... have you tried removing the
[ : ]
from the title?
That was a bug for a while iirc, may have been fixed. I dun know.
..
Oh, actually is apostrophes that prevent searching, my bad.

50 Shades
Still searchable for me. ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ

This might sound like a stupid question but did you search using the exact words

"Fifty Shades of Tan"

Or "50 Shades" like you typed?

Coz it weird that it suddenly doesnt work for you.

Yes, my bad on that one. But The rest of my series don't show up at all, and that's a concern. I wrote a kind email to Tony and we'll see what happens.

I was just wondering this!

More importantly, I do see that threads get handfuls of views there, so maybe we should make posts there to self-promote? ?

They barely get any replies tho. I feel people might just click on it then click away. But ig it doesnt hurt to do it?
