I took the same route as you. After getting tired of listening to 'feedback' that often missed the vision I had for the story (therefore, can't help me improve), or begging for 'feedback' from people I think can help, I just 'winged' it. The result? I finished my work (with its subsequent arcs), but look at my stories' statistics, especially in this site. And I despaired when I realized I can't 'monetize' this personal project, since this is something I wrote for myself, not for the audience.

Not saying it is bad; but as someone who went through similar situation, I'm warning you that this isn't easy. If you plan to be famous or monetize your content, this maybe isn't your path.

P.S.: I get that you didn't say there you're writing for yourself, but what if the day comes and you realize you wrote for yourself instead of listening to your potential readers?

Honestly, I did notice LitRPG was kinda trendy so I decided to add that element to my story.

I was thinking to say you should listen, until you brought up LitRPGs. Yeah, my one and only advice is to just publish it on The Road. You'll get more readers on there ?
