Just like a classic rezero style you, rubbed your eye and BOOM... you are transported to your novel's (fav) world. You are just as who you are, no powers, no nothing. Just the knowledge you have of the world and characters you have writen. The question is, what are you going to do? The characters don't know you either.

How are you surviving? How would you earn money? What can you do? Would you try to convince the main characters that you are their creator? Would you fall in love with them?

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

also whole different topic.... How did you guys made your novel's cover, display in your signatures?

If it's a litrpg where civilians have systems or a world where anyone can develop magic, do you also get those? Or do you just stay completely regular regardless of the standard there? (Also did you mean to put this in artist general?)

great question.. YES you can learn magic/combat/archery/anything. BUT if the rule of the world is that magic is only inherited or given in birth. You will not get the blessing. (I meant to post this in author general but it is what it is)

Try dying and see if this is a dream.

I am not saying fav but the generic isekai world in somewhat medieval times. Why the fvck would you go to a world in medieval stasis where 100% of times, you'll die of diarrhea or cholera? Even a wound infection will kill you. People really forgot the convenience of 21st century.

i would guide them, because i have the power to give plot armor, i would keep writing my story hoping it would affect them. if that doesn't work, maybe i can work as their strategist?

Considering both of the series I'm currently working on are "secret world" stories, where magical societies exist right under normal people's noses, my life probably wouldn't change too much. Assuming the whole "suddenly appearing in a new world" thing doesn't come with realistic problems like there not being any record of my existence and therefore not being a citizen of any country on earth, I'd probably just get a crappy job like I have now and a cheap apartment, and keep living my life the way I always have while the events of the story don't play out in any way that would impact me.

In one of my planned stories, I'd thrive. In another, nothing would really change as the government is busy speaking to an immortal. In a story I gave to my roommate, I would be great. In my final story, all normies would die

I have a character that canonically breaks the fourth wall and is a benign eldritch horror, so I'd go chill with it in it's multidimensional garden (hasn't had more than a brief appearance so far, but it's a fun one lol)

Bad. Really bad. I will likely not survive.

One novel is set in a dark fantasy wilderness, with no civilization for miles. Another is set in a modern fantasy world, but a dystopian version with mage overlords, politics, monsters, demons, and tons of war. The last one is set in an alternative modern world, but extremely dark capitalist. I'll be kidnapped and sold off the black market for my organs, and nobody would bat an eye.

In the first two novels, my characters will be unable to help me. In the last one, they can, but will likely hate me if they find out I am the creator. They have trust issues and low morality.

I need to stop making my worlds dystopian.

I wrote the worldbuilding in such way that it could be happening already in real life, and ordinary people just can't see or comprehend it properly. Ordinary people avoid supernatural, and supernatural avoid ordinary people. Those who mess with ordinary people too hard will be eaten by the other supernatural, or even by the Earth itself. Yes, earth is spiritually alive, and it deals with those who cause too much ruckus to ordinary people. Unless something happens outside of my control, I'm pretty much living an ordinary life that I have now lol

The question is, what are you going to do?
I would die fairly quickly.

How are you surviving? How would you earn money? What can you do? Would you try to convince the main characters that you are their creator? Would you fall in love with them?
Without any backing or "cheat powers," I'm dead.
Assuming I somehow am not dead, I would not be able to earn any money anyway, so... I'm dead - just a bit later.
Can't really do anything apart from seeking cover and slowly dying, or rush headfirst and pray they kill me fast instead of torturing (or worse) for years.
If I'm human (and have to be if I'm "me"), then I cannot convince them. I would be locked in a dungeon and "played with" for disrespecting their gods.
Nope.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Hope that this is just a nightmare and I soon woke up.

Edit;
Just noticed but... Why "Artist General" subforum? This should be in "Authors" :blobrofl:

"WH40k meets Cthulhu with rogue AI in the background" would be a good assessment, yes.
Made it for the RPG session years back. Everyone died at the end. Was epic. Would do again.

Maybe will write a story in it someday. Who knows.

It depends on your context. This reads to me like it relies on the rules of our own worlds, and if so, I would be able to use magic like everyone else, though everyone also starts at 5 ME stats anyway. If I couldn't use magic in a magic world, what would be the point?

It also depends on IF you need an identification for the ME stats (like how you need to have your id/birth certificate for certain things). Remember, the only thing you will carry (on the random day) will be what you carry everyday in your pockets.
