So basically Ai-chan once played this game years ago, but forgot the title. Googling it doesn't help. Also can't find it on steam. It's an indie game. Even if it doesn't hit everything, please say it anyway. It's been so long, Ai-chan could have mistaken some stuff. But a lot of people should have played this game because it was a big deal when Ai-chan played it. But of course, Ai-chan didn't pay for it, it was piratebayed.

Okay, nevermind. It is listed on steam. Thanks to both awesome guys who helped out.

What Ai-chan knows is true:
1. You play as someone who just graduated from something and on the day of your graduation, Earth was attacked by a huge tentacle monster and with Earth in such dire situation, you blasted off into space to solve the mystery of the monster and why Earth was attacked. If you played the game, you will definitely remember this as it happened way at the start.
2. It's a side scroller game
3. You can go to different planets and build stuff there, like build an apartment tower, decorate it and rent out rooms to other NPCs
4. You can mine all the way down to the bottom with magma
5. You can wear mechsuits
6. It is an indie english game
7. Ai-chan definitely played it years before covid
8. Ai-chan recalls it's so addicting that Ai-chan played it until brain hurts.

What Ai-chan vaguely recalls but probably mistaken:
1. It was in development around the time Kingdoms: Two Crowns were out
2. It was not yet complete when Ai-chan played it

What Ai-chan knows it is not:
1. That game where you mine to the bottom and has to protect a dome
2. Factorio

What Ai-chan suspects:
1. It's never released as a full game and abandoned because it's not listed on steam.

Oh dear, apparently it is indeed abandoned. Ai-chan was hoping against hope that the game had continued being developed after Ai-chan stopped playing it years ago.
It is still a pretty ok game, with mods. The only issue is its framerate. I spent a good amount of time with it and with mods I liked it a lot.

Why are so many good developers also deviants?

Not just that, the film industry, the banks, the lawyers, the hospital, the churches, the schools, the government, it's every fucking where, mate.

The moment certain people get power or money, the moment they realise they are listened to because of power dynamics.

What mods would you say is necessary to play the game? Ai-chan read that it feels empty after like 50 hours, is there a mod that address that?

Good question, it was years since I played. But I remember using different variety paacks for planets and whatnot. I treated the game as mine craft, as my goal was simply to build different homes on different biomes. I barely played it for the story.
