Does anyone have any ideas on things to get a girl for Valentine’s Day? I’m stuck between cupcakes and chocolate but I can’t find the baking pan for the cupcakes and don’t know what kind of chocolate she likes. I’d appreciate it if you guys could share any alternative gifts you know of in case mine don’t pan out.

Unless she has an allergy or something you can almost never go wrong with chocolate in my experience. My advice whatever you do, just do what you can to give it a personal touch so it's memorable. Not too much, but you want it to stand out a little.

I give credits to ChatGPT because credits needed to be given when it was due.

If you're unsure about chocolate and cupcakes aren’t an option, here are some alternative Valentine’s Day gifts that might work:

  1. Flowers – Classic, but always a great choice. If you’re not sure about roses, go for something like sunflowers, tulips, or her favorite flowers.
  2. Personalized Gift – A keychain, bracelet, or even a small engraved item with her initials or something meaningful to her.
  3. Handwritten Letter or Card – If you’re good with words, a heartfelt letter can be more meaningful than any store-bought gift.
  4. Plushies – A cute stuffed animal can be a great comfort gift, especially if she likes soft things.
  5. Snack Basket – If you’re not sure what kind of chocolate she likes, put together a small basket of different snacks and treats so she can choose.
  6. DIY Gift – A handmade bracelet, a playlist of songs that remind you of her, or even a small sketch/doodle if you're into art.
  7. Experience-Based Gift – Movie tickets, a nice dinner, or even a cute picnic if you want something more personal.

In my Dad's case back in the day, he wrote my Mom handwritten letters on quality paper with real beautiful and readable penmanship it was crazy. Mom still keeps the letters somewhere in the house like a treasure. It was even scented and even now, some of the smell still remains.

Based on my personal experience, I would give out cookies my Mom cooked, because I am a lazy kid who doesn't have any idea how beautiful romance truly is back in the day. Now? Not so much

Age bracket time, note thus assumes you're within the brackets also, please don't be otherwise:
[12-19] chocolate, a teddy or her favorite flowers
[20-27] same, but add a gemstone, mix and match and ensure the stione is her birthstone
[28-30] simple, just a nice date, a little wine, footrubs
[31-up] stay home, put on movie, drink wine, have sex, go to bed early because you have work tomorrow, flowers and jewelry are a bonus, and low fat candies

If you don't know her well enough to know her favorite chocolates, you've got 2 options: A basic card that is sweet or polite humor (no crude humor, unless you know 110% she's into it). Or, option 2, a variety pack of chocolate.

and for note: Yes, I know my wife's favorite chocolate. rolos, as she likes unsalted caramel and dark chocolate. I've learned to make them homemade, so I can make various different varieties with the same base. I plan to surprise her. Then again, 8 years of marriage, this is what you get.

aww, You mean I cna't be with my wife, cause I'm 32 and she's 29? different brackets :blob_teary:

Kidding, I know you meant no more than 1 bracket away (so no 12-19 with a 30) :blobrofl::blobrofl:

lol yeah, it's all good. I get my wife a flower, then we take the day off, order some delivery (pizza, mcondalds, whatever sounds good), and stay in with a movie. Last year we skipped all that and just read in the same room. It was a good valentine's day. cheap, simple, and very comfy.

Something she likes, even if it's not Valentine's day like. Never been more happy than when my husbands brought me donuts for Valentine's day, or when he drew a cute picture of us (even though he draws like a toddler). Even just a cute message or a card is good
