Anyone know of different image hosting alternatives to Imgur?

Hello again.

I just wanted to ask if anyone knows of different image hosting sites that work on Scribble Hub?

I have been using that site for a while now but have been having serious problems lately as they keep deleting images without warning, even private and unshared images. The truth is a nuisance because there I used to save a lot of images that I used to use as reference and that I used to put or not in my novel to introduce characters or important objects, but none of that is useful if they are going to be deleting half of the images just because.

So I wanted to know if there is any other compatible site so that I don't run into the surprise of my readers complaining again that all the images in the glossary have been deleted.

https://catbox.moe/ is the non conventional option and what I use, though the site is blocked in certain countries at both IP and DNS level, so it may not be accessible to everyone.

You can make a thread here and upload your images there.

You can re-use it every time you want.

Just like what I do here.

No. Do not do it. SHF is not a hosting side for your private stuff. Use imgur or any of the website mentioned by Reina.

I believe the imagebb works with *.gif too, though I would have to test it. It certainly it at least several months ago.

No man, SHF isn’t a filehost. Doing that will put serious strain on the servers, especially if you start linking the image on the thread to multiple places. Maybe 1~10 images would be fine. Not hundreds or thousands, though.

However, posting the images solely for SHF (like the art threads) should be okay. External sites aren’t referencing the images constantly.

I would recommend making a GitHub Pages and adding images to that, to reference.

Tumblr works well, haven't used it as social media ages, I just post pictures to an unused blog then copy image link

I use Pinterest and I don't have any problems with it until now.
