The way the game is programmed, each stat cannot be larger than 255.

255 is the maximum stat a pokemon could have.

Which means by the time gen 15, or maybe 23, or maybe 42 rolls up: the power creep may end up demanding that a Pokemon with all stats being 255 be born.

The closest we have come to this so far in gen 9 is Eternamax Eternatus

with having a maxed out HP stat with near perfect defences stat on both sides.

Those who are weeb enough to follow a little pokemon news know that this Pokemon alone managed to dissolve gen 8 pure hackmons because you could invest in its defences to the point of it overflowing and turning back to 0, causing all damages done to be null.

Which gen do you think will bring forth our behemoth with a base stat total of 1,530? What shall be its name and typing/moves?

You mean that power creep that has consitently added Pokémon with lower stats to each new game and put the strongesth Pokémon besides Legendaries and Mythicals at the exact same base stat total since generation 1?

I mean, probably soon. Considering how power crept gen 9 is, I could see a useable, 255 base stat across the board pokemon be added by gen 12. Gen 14 at the latest. Though it'd be banned in Ubers the second competitive comes online. Maybe a mega Arceus.

I know but, I meant till so far(gen 9), Eternus is the best, not till so far only in gen9.

Zapdos has 580, Necrozma Dusk Mane has 680, Zacian Crown has 720, I don't think it's too wild to assume a mon with perfect stats will be here eventually.

I am surprised how Ho-Oh is still the best sdef tank in Ubers despite everything happening. Not even stealth rocks stopped it.
