You totally didn’t get a harpoon gun & coat made from frog hide. Or a hat made from plucking a newly grown coral flathead mushroom.Thought I would look a bit more handsome.

He has one eye, other covered with a eyepatch made from clovers. Loose clothing with platypus hide woven atop. A chest satchel. And a ruana. Not-Paul is surprisingly capable, his spear is fish bone.
Looks in a sense a soldier. Swims between different pockets regularly to advoid the big boi’s and rising/building gases. (The water actually steams and rising through certain points with gases, causing a burst into the surface, he avoids those and waits till the pocket is cleared and uncollapsed. Once has gone to lower pockets, he lost his eye)
Frogs sit on the hat my dude. Duh, frogs love mushroom caps

Oh. They look broken too, so I guess that fits the theme.
A.I will never capture the essence of my mind. For it is too weird, and envisioned your terrarium more cold and mellow. The mushrooms rising above, separated from each other by a few yards. The gaps between the interlocking mushroom stems held small life swimming through them, hiding from the bigger predators above (Which can be seen from their bioluminescent glint). The glimmer of light from above highlighting the shadows casted by the mushrooms caps.

Thin and flowing flora reaching up, swaying from the bigger fish that are too large to hide. The distant figures of frogs diving into the water as a new one surfaces to take their cap.

Then there is not-you swimming about, harpoon gun at the ready. You avoiding the shadows and staying near pockets of light. Swimming up to rest upon a cap, till you get off before a frog comes. Small nats and bugs in the open space above, frogs snapping their tongues out to catch them, not bothered by you. They already learnt and same as you, as long as we don’t get near eachother we cool.
