Now that the poll has concluded, the winner was Battle Grounds III, a free PVP musket-based FPS.

The game will be hosted on our own game server on January 15th starting at 5 PM EST but the official match will not begin until 7 PM EST to allow as many people to join in and practice. The same will happen on January 16th starting at 10 AM EST with the official match starting at 12 AM EST to allow more people to take part that couldn't the day before. This will simply be a fun community event so there is no incentive to join other than to have fun and talk with some of the people on SHF through Discord (also, bragging rights), which @Corty has graciously agreed to host here. I am currently in communication with the SH Discord to see if they would also want to take part in a match between the SHD and the SHF.
Here's a video with some of the gameplay but it's a near-dead game so the server will be all to ourselves.

After 6 years of development, Battle Grounds III (BG3) is the next iteration in the classic franchise which began 17 years ago. Prepare for battle in the American War of Independence!
